Uniform
School uniform consists of grey trousers/skirt/pinafore dress with a white polo shirt, the kind that has a collar with three buttons. Parents can buy a maroon round neck or button through sweatshirt with the school logo from Forest Casual Wear or a plain grey jumper/cardigan may be worn. A light weight maroon jacket is also available.
In summer children may wear pink and white check dresses or short grey school shorts. Sensible black school shoes are worn. All clothing must be named.
Children wear t-shirts with the Alderton logo, maroon shorts and black slip-on plimsolls for PE. Tracksuit bottoms, preferably grey, may be worn for outdoor PE sessions during colder months.
Please note that uniform is gender neutral - children may wear the uniform they feel most comfortable with!
Please note that children that need clothing with easy fastenings may feel more comfortable wearing grey or black jogging bottoms and/or Velcro fastening shoes. Please discuss with us the options if you feel adaptations are necessary for your child.
We understand some families may find the cost challenging - please speak to our office team or a member staff as we may be able to support you with this. The PTFA have a number of pre-loved uniform items that are available at a very low cost! Great for the environment to re-use as well!!
